ResDiary is a Glasgow-founded restaurant reservation and table management platform with strong penetration in the Irish hospitality market. It is used by restaurants, hotels, and hospitality groups across Ireland to manage online bookings, walk-ins, table allocation, and guest communications. ResDiary's reservation system integrates with the restaurant's website and with platforms including Google Reserve, allowing diners to book directly from search. The platform manages waitlists, pre-payments and deposits, dietary and allergy notes, and automated confirmation and reminder emails and SMS. The table management view gives front-of-house staff a real-time overview of the dining room - which tables are seated, which are available, and when guests are expected to arrive. ResDiary also provides yield management tools that help restaurants maximise covers by optimising table turns and booking durations. For Irish restaurants, the platform handles Euro pricing natively and integrates with Irish POS systems. ResDiary was acquired by Dish Cult (later by BOOKED) but continues to operate under the ResDiary brand.

For Irish restaurants that take significant volumes of advance bookings, ResDiary's table management and channel management (syncing with OpenTable and other platforms) is operationally valuable. Skip unless you run a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality group that actually depends on advance bookings - walk-in-led venues don't need it.
