  • Newsletter Signup: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
  • Contact Forms: If you submit a form, we collect the information you provide (name, email, message).

Information Collected Automatically

  • Analytics: We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tool. Plausible does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and is fully GDPR compliant. No data is shared with third parties.
  • Server Logs: Our hosting provider (Netlify) may collect standard server logs including IP addresses and browser information. See Netlify’s privacy policy for details.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with vendors unless you explicitly request it (e.g., “Get a Quote” forms).

AI-Powered Tools

Our recommendation engine and other AI tools use the Claude API by Anthropic to generate results. When you use these tools:

  • Your form inputs are sent to Anthropic’s API to generate recommendations
  • Anthropic processes this data under their data usage policy
  • We do not store your inputs or AI responses beyond your browser session
  • The AI only recommends software from our verified vendor database — it does not search the internet or access external data

Cookies

Vendors.ie does not use cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookie-free. No tracking cookies, no advertising cookies, no third-party cookies.

As Vendors.ie is operated from Ireland and serves Irish users, we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You have the right to:
