Terms and Conditions

Last updated: April 8, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Vendors.ie, which is operated by Consistent Publishing Limited (CRO 742884). By accessing and using Vendors.ie, you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About Vendors.ie

Vendors.ie is an independent software comparison and recommendation platform for Irish businesses, operated by Consistent Publishing Limited. We provide editorial content, vendor data, AI-powered tools, and comparison information to help SMEs make more informed software decisions.

Information Only - Not Professional Advice

All content on Vendors.ie - including vendor data, editorial verdicts, comparison tables, AI tool outputs, compliance assessments, cost estimates, migration guides, and RFP documents - is provided for general information purposes only. It does not constitute legal, financial, accounting, IT, or procurement advice.

You should not rely on any content on this site as a substitute for professional advice specific to your circumstances. Before making any significant software purchasing, migration, or procurement decision, you should consult a qualified accountant, IT advisor, or relevant professional.

Content Accuracy and No Warranty

Vendor pricing, features, compliance status, and product availability change frequently. While we verify and update our data on a regular basis, we cannot guarantee that information is current, accurate, or complete at any given time.

All content and tools on Vendors.ie are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no representation that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

AI-generated outputs (recommendations, compliance checks, cost estimates, RFP generation, migration guides, tender summaries) are produced by large language models using the information you provide and our vendor database. These outputs may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. They must be independently verified before being relied upon.

Compliance data (Revenue integration, PAYE Modernisation status, GDPR data residency, bank feed compatibility) is indicative only. Software compliance capabilities and regulatory requirements change. Always verify current compliance status directly with the vendor and, where applicable, with Revenue, the DPC, or other relevant Irish authorities.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish and EU law:

  • Vendors.ie, its owners, editors, and contributors shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, any content, tool output, or recommendation on this site.
  • We exclude all liability for indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, business interruption, or reputational damage, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of your use of Vendors.ie shall not exceed €100.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Irish law.

Third-Party Websites and Vendors

Vendors.ie contains links to third-party vendor websites and services. Once you click through to a third-party site, you are subject to that site’s own terms, privacy policy, and practices. We have no control over and accept no responsibility for the content, products, services, or practices of any third-party website. Inclusion of a vendor on Vendors.ie is not an endorsement.

Vendors.ie may earn referral fees when you click through to vendor websites and make a purchase. This does not affect our editorial independence or the data we display. Affiliate relationships are disclosed on our Transparency page. Featured or sponsored placements are clearly labelled where they appear.

AI Tools - Data and Session

Our AI-powered tools process the information you provide (company size, sector, budget, keywords, etc.) to generate results. This data is used solely to produce your results and is not stored beyond your session or used to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Intellectual Property

All original content on Vendors.ie - including text, editorial verdicts, comparison data, and tool outputs - is the property of Vendors.ie unless otherwise stated. You may share individual recommendations and tool outputs freely, but you may not reproduce our vendor database or editorial content in bulk without written permission.
