Overview

Coupa is a US-based enterprise spend management platform used by large organisations to manage procurement, invoicing, expense management, and supply chain risk. It is used in Ireland by multinational companies, large Irish enterprises, and some public sector bodies that require a sophisticated procure-to-pay solution. Coupa covers the full procurement lifecycle - from purchase requisitions and purchase orders through supplier management, contract management, invoice processing, and payment. The platform includes a supplier network (the Coupa Business Network) that connects buyers and suppliers for electronic invoicing and purchase order transmission. For Irish businesses, Coupa supports Irish VAT, SEPA payment processing, and multi-currency transactions for businesses operating across Ireland and Europe. Coupa integrates with major ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, and NetSuite. It is a complex enterprise system requiring implementation support and is not suited to SMEs.
