What this scheme funds

Green for Micro provides up to two days of free consultancy from an approved sustainability consultant who produces an action plan covering energy efficiency, water use, waste, transport, supply-chain emissions and circular-economy opportunities. The output is a concrete shortlist of changes the business can make in the next 12 months, including which Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) and Enterprise Ireland follow-on schemes (e.g. EXEED, GreenStart) the business should pursue. There is no cash element - the value is mentoring and a baseline carbon and cost picture - but the plan is often the prerequisite for accessing the larger SEAI capital grants.
