What this scheme funds
Lean Plus is the middle rung of Enterprise Ireland's Lean Business Offer (Lean Start, Lean Plus, Lean Transform). It funds 50% of project costs up to EUR50,000 toward a structured Lean transformation: defined value-stream improvements, sustained cycle-time reductions, and the embedded capability to keep the improvement going after the consultant leaves. In practice, the project often pulls in the digital tooling that underpins the new process - ERP modules, MRP scheduling, shop-floor data capture, RPA bots - and the grant can pay for the consultant time, the training cost, and a defined portion of the software implementation. Lean Start (up to EUR8,500, no co-funding) is the entry point; Lean Transform funds larger, multi-year programmes for companies that have already proven the Lean Plus phase.
