What this scheme funds
The Trading Online Voucher is the most widely used digital grant in the country and the entry point for most microenterprises taking their first serious step online. It is administered by the 31 Local Enterprise Offices on behalf of the Department of Enterprise, Tourism and Employment. Applicants must first attend a free LEO information seminar before applying. Funded activities include the design and build of a new e-commerce or transactional website, addition of payment processing, search engine optimisation, digital marketing campaigns, app development, and subscriptions to online booking or order-management platforms. Capital costs like laptops or servers, ongoing hosting beyond the project term, and recurring SaaS licence fees outside the project window are not eligible.
