Regulator drops - day-of-drop page shell

First-mover lane for Irish institutional source releases (CSO, Revenue eBriefs, CBI quarterly bulletins, DPC enforcement notices, CRO filings). Spec: Vendors-Content-Strategy-2026.md §2.5 cue 1 + Unified-SME-Intelligence-Strategy-2026.md §15.2 Template F.

Spin up a new drop page

  1. Copy dpc-tiktok-eea-china-2025.astro to a new file under src/pages/regulator-drops/<regulator>-<slug>-<year>.astro.
  2. Fill the frontmatter contract: source, verdict (≤150 words), irishRealityCheck, matrixRows, affectedVendors, reviewer, asaiSubstantiation, reviewCycle, crossLinks. Editor pulls values out of src/data/external/{dpc-decisions,cbi-authorised,revenue-approved}.json where the cron has already captured them; no engineering needed.
  3. Run npm run build (or npm run check) to verify Astro + TypeScript.
  4. Open PR, get the named reviewer to sign off the verdict, merge, ship. Target: 4-hour SLA from drop to publish.

SLA

4 hours from drop to publish. The shell exists so publish-on-drop is editorial-only, not engineering. If a drop requires a layout change, that drop is not first-mover material - slot it as a pillar instead.

Quality-bar non-negotiables (§7 + §2.5 anti-rule)

Anti-rule: never sacrifice the quality bar for speed. A weak day-of-drop page erodes the data-co brand faster than a slow-mover strong page builds it.
